RGHT SDS Apparel

The idea for RGHT SDS came from a desire to learn how to make my own clothing, and also force myself to take better care of my clothing.

Through my research, I found that while a lot of our belongings are consumable and easily replaceable, taking the time to build something with my own hands evokes a desire to take care of that product. The bags that I’ve made from scratch are some of the most well-protected things I own.

I started to wonder if I would feel the same way about the clothes I wear if I made them myself. RGHT SDS is my answer to the dreaded $3 H&M shirts that fall apart after a month of wear. Simultaneously, I wanted to make the process of sewing your own clothes more accessible to students who don’t know where to start.

The process:

1. Build your shirt in the RGHT SDS app.

2. Order the pieces for your new creation.

3. When your box arrives, look over the instruction booklet to prepare your space. 

4. Follow the simple instructions, sew up your brand new shirt.
